šØ Gulf Breeze & Pensacola Relief: Hereās How to Help
Hey yāall, for those who donāt know me, Iām Shayna. Iāve called Orange Beach home for nearly all my life, and most days youāll find me running Bash Bestie, making things pretty and festive. This week calls for a different kind of project.
Gulf Breeze, Navarre, and Pensacola arenāt āover there.ā Theyāre our neighbors, our friends, and fellow business owners, just down the road. I just got off the phone with a a local business owner in Gulf Breeze, and hearing her describe the damage was heartbreaking. They werenāt prepared for this.
I couldnāt hang up and do nothing, so hereās what weāre doing. Their most urgent needs are the basics: shelf-stable food, water, and toiletries. Thatās the first thing weāll be buying at Walmart, and everything else is on the Amazon list below.
And to everyone whoās already reached out: thank you. The response has been overwhelming in the best way.
Three ways to help:
š Drop off supplies. Weāll be at Rouses in Gulf Shores this Sunday, 9ā11 AM, accepting donations. All donations will be then moved to Bash Bestie studio. You can message me to setup a separate drop of time at the studio if you canāt make the above.
šø Send funds for gas + supplies. Venmo: | Last 4 of phone (0178) Iāll share the full list of what weāre purchasing so you can see exactly where every dollar goes.
š¦ Shop the Amazon list. Iāve set one up for another trip later this week and will keep adding to it this evening, so check back if you donāt see what youāre looking : https://www.amazon.com/registries/gl/guest-view/3BQQGJZGPMS1O?ref_=cm_sw_r_apin_ggr-subnav-share_RCRTHVB0S4XYXY5YAWC5&language=en-US
š§ A note on ice: Ice is a huge need with no power, but I only have one large cooler, so Iāll be taking what I can fit. Got a cooler to spare? Fill it with ice and send it along. Label it with your name and number and Iāll make sure it gets back to you. Or if youāre able to part with it, mark it ādonateā and itāll stay with a family who can really use it while the powerās out.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
