Meeting on June 17th at the Grange Hall.

Hi all, next Wednesday, June 17th at 7:00 pm please join Capay Valley Fire for a town hall meeting at the Guinda Western Yolo Grange . This is an opportunity to give feedback and ask questions of your Fire Chief, Firefighters, and Fire Commissioners, and to hear from Capay Valley Emergency Response Auxiliary about projects and progress. We'll report out on how we've used the additional funds from the Benefit Assessment (which we are NOT increasing), and the state of the matching County funding (which is NOT decreasing as far as we know).

Be on the lookout for rattlesnakes. Warmer days bring them out. Take care as you step outdoors.

If you’re hitting the trails this spring and summer, keep an eye out for rattlesnakes. They usually avoid people, but if cornered they can strike. A rattlesnake bite is a medical emergency.

✅ If your pet is bitten, contact a veterinarian right away.
