Sailors learn life skills that transcend the water…
Spend your summer on the Long Island Sound!
The Guilford Yacht Club Association, Inc. (GYC), in partnership with the Town of Guilford Parks and Recreational Department, will provide a beginner and intermediate level Junior Sailing Program at the GYC for members and non-members.
GYC Junior Sailing will begin on June 22nd and run as eight 1-week sessions. The Sailing Camp will be held at Guilford Yacht Club (379 Whitfield Street). The hours for Camp are Monday - Friday from 8:30am - 3:00pm. In addition to sailing, participants will also have daily swimming, sports, craft and special events. Requirements: Swim & capsize tests as a prerequisite to be able to sail and ALL participants must have USCG approved life jacket.
