As many of you know the Wildflower family are metal heads. Owners Katie and David spend a good amount of time concert going - and Black Sabbath has always been a favorite.

Our flower family is deeply saddened by the loss of the Prince of Darkness so in order to celebrate his memory we'll be putting our black roses on sale with a donation from each being made to "Cure Parkinson's" - the UK charity favored by Ozzy and Sharon for donations to research to cure Parkinson's Disease.

Every image you see us post is our own hard work and design. What you’ll never get from us are: images of pre-boxed arrangements that thousands of other florists use, flowers that look NOTHING like our photos, or an arrangement you don’t recognize being delivered. If we make substitutions - we call for your approval.

We’re an independent flower shop who is not affiliated with order gatherer services such as Teleflora or FTD. They do not run our website they do not write our social media posts. You get 100% value of what you order and you’re supporting a mom and pop shop - not a corporation. You get something unique and fresh every time. You aren’t an order to us, you’re a client. A friend.

Shops like ours are few and far inbetween. When you make the choice to shop - shop local and shop small.

This weekend we had the honor of recreating not just one but TWO wedding bouquets for 50 year anniversaries!

Mrs. Brown originally had a bouquet of mums, stephanotis, and an orchid corsage that was removable for wear during the reception/going away. We took time to carefully recreate her cascading bouquet…complete with a removable corsage. All flowers in this bouquet including the corsage were made with real flowers!

We are wishing these two lovebirds many more years of happiness! You’ve raised a beautiful family and we are blessed to have been a part of your big day this weekend 🤍

…by the Port Arthur Daily News. From May until June folks were able to nominate and vote for their favorite businesses across several categories. We were selected by our community for these awards.

I write this with tears in my eyes that in our first year of business at our storefront that y’all chose us for this award. For a year y’all have trusted us with your wedding, anniversary, get well soon, prom, just because, and funeral flowers. To be trusted with being such a big part of these monumental events and letting our art be shared with y’all - this is what it is all about.

The community and friends we have gained over the last year make us know that choosing Groves as home was the right decision. Nothing brings me more joy as an owner to open my shop and see all the familiar faces I have grown to love and see the way y’alls faces light up when we hand your flowers over. For some of you, sitting at our counter and just hanging out is your therapy. It warms my heart that not only have I made a business here but also a safety and comfort for all those that walk through our door.

David always jokes about my mental Rolodex of my customers. I remember y’all. I remember the things I design for you and your favorite flowers. The personal touch of designing custom arrangements and taking the time to know my people will always be a part of this business. I find that the world these days lacks this quality and if our shop offers you that glimmer of small town care - I’ve done my job. I take your satisfaction with our work to heart. You are never an order here - you’re always a friend.

It’s our goal to keep collecting these blue ribbons and serving our community. Thank y’all for choosing us. From the bottom of my heart - thank you for giving me purpose, thank you for blessing our family. We love y’all!

Head’s up!

Our entire crew is sick and we will be closing at NOON today. If you have a scheduled delivery or pick up - no worries. Your flowers are ready and still being delivered. If you’re picking up past noon - your order will be next door at Stacked Cake And Confection Co. and they are open until 6pm.

We apologize for any inconvenience - this is the one downside of being a small, family run operation! Send some prayers and healing vibes our way.

We will be open tomorrow for our normal Friday summer hours of 10am until 6pm! Mason jar minis are $20 each this week and tomorrow is the last day to donate to our Hill Country fundraiser!
