As we approach our 3 year anniversary of being a part of Grove City and the surrounding areas, we wanted to sincerely thank everyone in the community for their gracious support and business during this time. We also wanted to let everyone know that as of today, we are no longer a member of the Teleflora network and will be unable to send or deliver any orders using Teleflora's wire services.
This decision was not a difficult one. While being a member of Teleflora for 2 years has allowed us to gain exposure and build our reputation in the area, the simple fact of the matter is we barely make any money off the arrangements that we fill for their service. Long story short: we get 50% of what you pay these services when you order from them. In other words, if you order a $100 arrangement, $50 automatically goes to Teleflora and the additional fees they tack on. After accounting for the flowers, vase, labor and delivery, there's little or no profit left for us.
There are A LOT of wire services that send their orders to local small floral shops via Teleflora, and often these companies employ people in other countries as customer service reps. Just to name a few are:

We know you have a choice when it comes to shopping for flowers and we understand the costs of everything keeps going up. But, if you need to place an order for floral delivery to someone outside our area, we highly encourage you to keep this in mind. It benefits you, and it benefits other small floral shops around the country, to contact them DIRECTLY to place your order rather than with one of these national wire services. If you do so, all the money you spend goes directly to the local shop, you will definitely get more for the money you spend, and you will appreciate knowing that customer service will be handled by someone in the USA.
Don't be fooled if you do a quick internet search and one of these services pop up. More often than not, the first sites that appear will be sponsored results and not a local shop. They may look like a local florist and use convincing language to make you think they're local, but they're not. Also, you might be tempted to order from them at Christmas, Mother's Day, Valentine's, etc because they offer good discounts, but again the shop that fills you order will only get about 50% of what you spend, which is discounted.
