Another summer season of warm weddings and celebrations has come to an end with the arrival of snow on the mountains, but that doesn't mean that we're done! Our barn is heated and winterized with access to the V.A.S.T. snowmobile trails. With dinner seating for 50, you could be a trendsetter with a ride-in wedding!

Welcome to the Old Scott Barn! Situated on Scott Highway in beautiful Groton Vermont and set among state forests, lakes, and parks, this 1793 dairy farm has been lovingly restored and converted into a scenic and historic venue for weddings and events. The large post and beam dairy barn is the perfect setting for a memorable special event. With mountain views in the background and overlooking a beautiful landscape of fields, forest, and rivers, our barn is the perfect place to experience historic Vermont and to create lasting memories with your friends and family.

The upstairs hay barn can very comfortably accommodate 175 seated guests with space for a dance floor and more. The downstairs milking parlor offers a bar and lounge area, and a more relaxed atmosphere away from the main event space upstairs.

We are conveniently located minutes away from I-91 and half an hour from the state capitol of Montpelier.
