⛪️ Black churches have and will always be the heartbeat of the black community!

💫On June 19, 1865 when enslaved people first gained their freedom, the first “Juneteenth” celebration happened in the church! Church was the place that kept our history alive, and reminded us of our worth when the world tried to take it. 👏🏾🙌🏾

💫There are 7 black churches in the predominantly black communities of BNG! We would love to recognize 2 Gresham churches, Soul Chapel AME Church , The House of God Church Gresham - Keith Dominion , their pastors, and church families for their donation and/or sponsorship! First Fuel Fellowship Pastor has confirmed their attendance!
