Why RSVPs Matter (aka… don’t ghost the bride & groom 😅)

RSVPs aren’t just fancy cards...They literally determine EVERYTHING for the wedding.

✅ How many seats?
✅ How much food?
✅ How many cupcakes? (most important)
✅ Which cousin gets bumped to the kids’ table?

When guests don’t RSVP on time, couples have to:
• Hunt people down like they’re in witness protection
• Play “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner”
• Pay for extra meals “just in case”
• Stress about seating charts at 2 AM

Moral of the story?
If you love the couple… RSVP.
If you like free food and dancing… RSVP.
If your mama raised you right… RSVP.

Save a bride. Save a budget.

Fall 2027 and spring 2028 couples, this one’s for you 👇

If you just got engaged or you’re getting close to it, now is the time to start looking for your planner or coordinator. Most good ones book a year or more out, and fall and spring Saturdays go fast. And if you can, talk to a planner BEFORE you sign with a venue or any vendor, We know which venues and vendors fit your budget, and that can save you a lot of money and stress.

I always tell couples to put at the very least a wedding coordinator at the top of the list, not at the bottom with whatever’s left over. Here’s why:

✔️ You’re spending a lot of money on this day. Someone needs to make sure every vendor delivers what you paid for.
✔️ Your venue coordinator works for the venue. They take care of the building. We take care of YOU.
✔️ Every vendor gets confirmed and is on the same timeline, so no one is guessing on the day.
✔️ When something goes wrong (and something always does), we fix it before you ever hear about it. Your family doesn’t have to work your wedding.

I’ve been doing this for 14 years and have seen it all. Trust me, this is the one thing you don’t want to cut.

Vendor Open House at the Sycamore at Mallow Run

Come explore The Sycamore at Mallow Run and chat with our recommended wedding vendors, including caterers, florists, photographers, specialty rentals, musicians, and more! There is no cost to attend. We’d love to see you there!

The Sycamore at Mallow Run is located at 7070 W. Whiteland Rd – two driveways west of the winery entrance. Look for the large wooden sign and long paved driveway!

A DAY IN MY LIFE ☕💍
Three weddings in 24 hours… somebody hand me another coffee! 😝

Friday, October 9, kicked off with Becca and Josh at Gallery Forty-Two. Their wedding brought together a beautiful blended family, and watching them celebrate this next chapter together was so special. Photog Boss LLC was there capturing it all!

Then Saturday, October 10, brought Angelica and Tanner’s wedding at Ivory Foundry! Weddings here always run flawlessly, and no two ever feel the same. Each couple brings their own personality and vibe, and we always look forward to seeing it come together!

Next up: Brianna and Riley at the Freedom Barn in Indianapolis! I got to work alongside Complete Weddings + Events Indy and Chula’s Catering. And their sweet fur baby Molly wore a veil to match mom’s! 🐾

Three couples, three different celebrations, and so many reasons to love what I do. Also, plenty of reasons to put my feet up afterward. 😂
