Some love stories truly feel like they were written straight out of a fairytale ✨

Casie and John’s spring engagement session at Newfields was an absolute dream. Between the gorgeous gardens, all the spring blooms, and the sweetest moments between these two, it was the perfect way to celebrate this chapter of their story.

And speaking of fairytales… their proposal story might just be one of my favorites. John asked Casie to marry him at Cinderella’s Wishing Well right in front of Cinderella Castle at Walt Disney World and honestly, does it get any more magical than that? ✨ A Disney proposal that is truly what dreams are made of.

As a former Disney wedding couple ourselves, we will forever have such a soft spot for love stories that include a little Disney magic, and getting to document couples who share that same love is always so special.

Casie and John, we had the best time celebrating your engagement and we already cannot wait to have you back here at Newfields next spring but this time as bride and groom. 🤍

What a way to end an incredible week of weddings!

Makayla and Jonah’s wedding day at The Refinery in Jeffersonville, Indiana was everything a wedding day should be joyful, emotional, relaxed, and filled with so much love from the people who mean the most to them.

From the moment we arrived, there was such an excitement in the air. Every detail came together beautifully, but what stood out most was simply the two of them. The way Jonah looked at Makayla all day long, the laughter they shared, and the genuine happiness surrounding them made this day so special to photograph.

As Indianapolis wedding photographers, we have the privilege of documenting so many beautiful celebrations, but there are always certain wedding days that stay with you. This was one of them.

The Refinery wedding venue provided the perfect backdrop for their celebration, blending modern industrial charm with elegant touches that reflected Makayla and Jonah’s style so well. Every moment felt effortless and authentic exactly the kind of memories we love capturing.

We truly couldn’t have imagined a better way to wrap up a week full of weddings than celebrating alongside these two and their amazing family and friends!

Some wedding days are beautiful because of the details. Others are beautiful because of the story behind them.

Meri and Thomas were married on her parents' property in Knightstown, Indiana the very place where so much of their story began. During the uncertainty of COVID, when there weren't many places to go or things to do, they spent countless hours here together, walking the property, talking, and building the foundation of the relationship that would eventually lead them to this day.

To see them exchange vows in the same place where they spent those early days together made everything feel even more meaningful.

The weather kept us on our toes with a little rain throughout the day, but somehow, every time it truly mattered, the skies gave us exactly what we needed. It felt like one of those days that was simply meant to be.

From the emotional moments with family to the quiet significance of standing in the place where their love story first took root, this wedding was such a beautiful reminder that sometimes the most meaningful venues aren't the grandest ones they're the places that already hold your favorite memories.

The coastal views, ocean breeze during their ceremony, nonstop laughter throughout the day, and the most fun celebration with all of their favorite people made this Charleston beach wedding feel so special to be part of. Everything about the day felt relaxed, joyful, and full of so much love.

We loved getting to photograph this beautiful Isle of Palms wedding just outside of Charleston and document such an amazing day for these two!

There is just something so magical about a morning engagement session in Charleston and this one was what pastel dreams are made of!

We spent the most beautiful morning with Caitlin + Hunter strolling through the quiet streets of downtown Charleston before the city woke up, and for a little while it truly felt like we had the entire city to ourselves. Between the soft morning light, cobblestone streets, historic homes, and that peaceful Charleston charm, it could not have been a more perfect morning for their engagement photos and we just adored our time with them!

Charleston engagement sessions at sunrise will forever have our hearts. The light is dreamy and soft, the streets are empty, and it creates such a relaxed and intimate experience for our couples while exploring some of the most iconic spots throughout downtown Charleston.

We are already counting down the days until their wedding next spring at Old Wide Awake, one of the most beautiful Charleston wedding venues surrounded by Spanish
moss and Lowcountry scenery. If their engagement session was any indication of what their wedding day will be like, we already know it is going to be absolutely incredible.

One thing I’ll always encourage people to do is make time for the extended family photos too! Not just the yearly photos...

One thing I’ll always encourage people to do is make time for the extended family photos too!

Not just the yearly photos with your kids, but the grandparents, siblings, cousins, all of it. Those are the photos that end up meaning even more as the years go by.

We spent the evening with this sweet family at Southeastway Park and it was such a fun, relaxed session together. So many genuine moments, lots of laughs, and the kind of memories that are really worth documenting.

Off to Charleston again ✈️🌴

It’s kind of surreal to say we’re heading back to Charleston for the second time in a little over a month to photograph another beautiful wedding week this time at the gorgeous Citadel Beach Club on Isle of Palms 🤍

We’ve absolutely been loving this season of growing our business in Charleston while still continuing to serve our amazing couples back home in Indianapolis. Getting to document weddings in both places has felt so creatively inspiring for us, and we’re incredibly thankful for every couple trusting us with such a huge part of their story.

This trip is packed with another full week of shoots, engagement sessions for our 2027 Charleston couples, and more venue tours including some beautiful new spaces that just officially started welcoming wedding couples this year!

One of the things we’ve loved most is truly getting to know this city beyond just visiting it. The light, the architecture, the coastal charm, the venues, the hidden corners… every trip makes us feel even more connected to this place and even more excited for what’s ahead here.

There was something extra special about this wedding day!

10 years ago, I photographed Makenzie as a senior… and last weekend, we got to photograph one of the biggest days of her life as she married Jeffrey. It’s honestly hard to put into words how meaningful it is to be trusted through so many seasons of someone’s story. Watching clients grow up, fall in love, and start this next chapter will never stop being surreal to us.

Their wedding day was absolutely perfect relaxed, joy-filled, and just so much fun from beginning to end. The kind of day where everything simply felt easy, surrounded by the sweetest people and so much love.

Makenzie & Jeffrey, thank you for trusting us to capture such an incredible chapter for you two. What a full circle moment this was! We are so excited for you both!

Last week, we spent the morning in Fishers with Alexa + Brady for their engagement session and these two were such a joy to be around. From the moment we met up, it felt like spending time with old friends so easygoing, sweet, and full of fun together.

We wandered around, laughed our way through the morning, and captured so many moments that already have us even more excited for their wedding day. We absolutely cannot wait for their beautiful winter wedding at Hotel Carmichael next year!
