Had a great weekend along the river bank at Que on the Yazoo in our hometown! We started the weekend feeding friends and customers for The Delta Group and had a great time. Then it was time to fine tune all the details on the competition side of things. From the cool temps to the warm sunshine our Outlaw BBQ Smokers ran like a dream! We were very happy with our hog and made finals. We had a great group of judges! We were blessed with a 1st place hog and 5th place ribs! Congrats to Indirect Fire Barbeque Team and SmokeMasters BBQ on their 1st place calls! We were blessed that our hard work paid off and we were called Grand Champion! We are thankful for our sponsors Heath Riles BBQ, Mississippi Meat Company, and The Delta Group. Thank you to all who had a hand in putting on this great event along with the Memphis Barbecue Network and their reps.

Had a great weekend at PeaVine Festival in Boyle, MS. We made finals for hog and pulled out a 2nd place hog. We had a great time with our BBQ family. Thank you to Mississippi Meat Company for quality meats and Heath Riles BBQ, Swine Life BBQ, and M/W Smokers for our great flavors. Congrats to all that heard their names called this weekend!

Sunday Supper with the help of Heath Riles seasonings! Recipe in the comments. We substituted venison steaks for the meat and used Garlic Jalapeño to season the meat. Next time I think the Garlic Parmesan Rub added to the sauce would be great!
