Yesterday, I celebrated another year of life! my heart is full of gratitude especially for my parents. The ones who gave me life, gave me purpose and unknowingly placed a passion in my heart from the moment I could reach the countertop.

Desde chiquita I was always in the kitchen, eyes wide, heart full, watching mami and papi cook with love and that love, the sazón, the patience, the hustle… I soaked it all up. I didn’t know it then but I was learning more than recipes, I was learning legacy!

The hands I cook with today are a reflection of yours. The flavors I create are rooted in our home, in our story, in you. I didn’t realize it then, but I was being shaped by tradition, by culture, by the hands that fed generations before me and because of you cooking isn’t just what I do, it’s who I am!

Thank you Mami and Papi for passing down the love of cooking and showing me that food is more than a meal, its connection, culture, and care.
