Greenwich, CT —Jon Meacham is one of today’s most respected presidential historians, TV commentator, and a Pulitzer Prize-winning author. He will appear live and in person on Tuesday, December 3 at 6:30 p.m. for a powerful evening of reflection and conversation.

About the Author:
A person of faith, he has served on the vestries of both St. Thomas Church Fifth Avenue and Trinity Church Wall Street.

In addition to being a contributing writer for The New York Times Book Review and a contributing editor at Time, Meacham is a distinguished visiting professor at Vanderbilt University. He’s a member of both the Council on Foreign Relations and the Society of American Historians. He also serves as a trustee for institutions like the Thomas Jefferson Foundation, the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History, and several schools.

Come to hear the Christ Church Children's Choirs sing the “Festal Eucharist” at St. Thomas Church NYC

Christ Church Greenwich has one of the finest music programs in the country. The children’s choirs have been at Choir Camp all week getting music training, vocal lessons, in preparation for their English Tour next year. The children will sing the Festal Eucharist at St. Thomas Church in NYC. All are welcome.

The Courage & Faith Speaker series is honored to welcome the Reverend Dr. Russ Levenson, Jr. and acclaimed actor Sam Waterston for a special evening discussing Witness to Belief: Conversations on Faith and Meaning The book includes deeply personal, faith-filled conversations with twelve prominent cultural figures, including Denzel Washington, Jane Goodall, Amy Grant, Gary Sinise, Condoleezza Rice, Sam Waterston, Admiral William McRaven, and others who speak candidly about the transformative power of Christianity in their personal and professional lives.

Sam Waterston is most widely known for his decades-long career in television, film, and theater, most notably on Law & Order as well as a decades-long monumental career in film, TV, and theater. Waterston will reflect on the role of faith in his life and how it continues to inform his work, activism, and personal convictions.

Rev. Dr. Russ Levenson, Jr. was most recently the Rector of St. Martin’s Episcopal Church in Houston, growing it to 10,000 members, the largest Episcopal parish in North America.

We are a lively community of worship, celebration, learning, service, and fellowship. Established as a parish in 1749, we are one of New England’s oldest and largest Episcopal churches. We provide a spirit-filled historic sacred space for baptisms, weddings, events, and memorial services in Greenwich and the vicinity, and offer a myriad of opportunities to nourish and inspire you and your family on your spiritual journey.

We offer worship services, outreach ministries, concerts, educational programs, counselling, grants, and facilities to benefit the greater Greenwich community. We currently host over 5,500 meetings a year and house many community service programs, including AA and Neighbor to Neighbor.
