Late (and wordy 😅) post as I come down from the emotional roller coaster I’ve been on the last several weeks… and wow, today was AMAZING! 🎊
I’ve been working so hard preparing for the Green River Bridal Expo. I’ve done open houses and a bridal tea before, but this was my first large, highly publicized expo and it was such a great experience.
There were so many people behind the planning and ex*****on of this event and I may miss some but Wildflower Barn, BrandBuilt, Kingdom Cords, Hattie James Bridal…but I was initially reached out to by my good friends Jon and Crystal with Crossroads Entertainment - KY and Crystal Clear Coordination by Crossroads Entertainment . When they mentioned kind of what the plan was and asked if I’d be interested in being a vendor, it was an immediate yes. If you know them, you know they pour their heart and soul into everything they do, and this event was no exception. Truly, every business involved in the production of this event should be SO proud of what they put together.
I need to mention one of the coolest parts of this expo was the nonprofit aspect. It raised money for the local community through scholarships and supporting Pathway of Hope and Hope2All Food Bank. Getting to be part of something that gives back like that means a lot to me.
All that to say, in preparation the past several weeks, I’ve been really intentional about leveling up my booth. My previous setup was very modest, so I needed to make some changes. I had plenty of paper prints, metal displays and albums, but to really up my game I turned to Bay Photo Lab. Their Xposer display (the hanging photos) was the BEST decision. I’m honestly blown away by how incredible these images look. Huge thanks to my hubby (and everyone I randomly texted at all hours asking their opinion of “all these photos”) while I tried to narrow it down to just SIX photos to print. Harder than it sounds. 😂
Tina Stewart with The Flower Pot yet again created the most gorgeous flower arrangement—absolutely loved it. 💐
People don’t often talk about how fun it is to connect with other vendors at these events, but today was so good, catching up with old friends and meeting some new ones along the way. When that community is nurtured it makes days like today even better.
LASTLY, to everyone who stopped by my booth today, thank you. I had some really great conversations and I’m honestly just feeling overwhelmed in the best way by all the kind words and good vibes. 🩵
Feeling tired, grateful, and really thankful for today. 🤍
Green River Bridal Expo, around the same time next year, maybe? 😂🎊
