Dear Friends, Family, Loyal Customers and Amazing Community,
After nearly two decades of serving this amazing community, it is with a full and grateful heart
that I share some very big news. We have officially sold our business, Rep Express Catering & Events and 400 Saint Andrews!
This moment is both incredibly exciting and a little bittersweet. What started as a way for our
family to work together and see each other more has become a journey filled with millions of meals, countless events, and relationships that we will carry with us forever.
When we launched Rep Express, we saw a need—specifically for pharmaceutical reps like we
once were—to have catering support that was fast, reliable, and didn’t take away from their face
time with doctors. We wanted to take the stress off their plates, literally. That idea quickly grew
into something bigger than we ever imagined.
From lasagna baked in our apartment for the very first order… to serving millions of meals across weddings, corporate gatherings, holiday parties, showers, and more… we’ve lived a dream!
We've worked out of the Greenville Mall, spent 8 incredible years in Arlington Village, opened a second location in Wilmington, served as preferred caterers at venues all over Eastern North Carolina, managed the Greenville Country Club for three years, and finally made our permanent home at 400 Saint Andrews, where we’ve proudly been for the last 11 years.
But what truly made this journey special wasn’t the buildings, the contracts, or even the food. It
was you. You gave us your trust. You invited us into your milestones, your families, your celebrations. We have never, not once, taken that for granted.
To our team (past and present), you are the heartbeat of Rep Express. This business wouldn’t exist without your hands, your hustle, and your hearts. We are beyond thankful for each of you that have graced us over the years.
To our new owner…we are so excited to pass the torch to someone who shares our values and vision. Hetal Patel will carry the business forward, and we know she’ll do it with care, excellence, and heart. Even more comforting, our long-time, wonderful kitchen manager (and my brother, Ricky Rickard) will continue to lead the back of house operations, supported by the same incredible team including Angel Sutton and Ethan Taliaferro. We are confident this team will continue to serve this community with the same love and attention to detail you've come to expect.
This journey hasn’t always been easy- this is for sure and especially during COVID when our business was forced to shut down for over a year. But it was in that stillness that I gave this business fully to God. I realized that it was never ours to begin with. It has always belonged to Him, and we were simply stewards of what He entrusted us with. Every time we thought we
were at the end, He carried us through and He always made us stronger on the other side.
On September 12, 2025, I felt a peace that only God can give. It became clear that our season was complete and that it was time for a new chapter—for me, for my husband Brian, my mom, Jennifer Rickard and her husband, Rick Rickard and for our entire family; and we are ready. Ready to support, encourage, and watch with pride as the next season of Rep Express unfolds.
Thank you all for letting us be part of your stories. Thank you for the chance to serve. Every linen laid, every dish prepared, every event planned…I promise, we did it all with love.
To the mentors who poured into us over the years with encouragement, wisdom, and guidance - thank you. Your steady support has been pivotal in shaping who we are today, both personally and professionally. We are forever grateful for the way you walked alongside us during the highs and the lows.
And to Chef Dave—we miss you every single day. You were not just part of our team, but part of our family. We know you’re watching over us from heaven, smiling with pride, and cheering us on. The legacy you helped build will never be forgotten. Cheers to you, and to every soul who made this journey what it has been.
This is not goodbye—it’s simply a turning of the page. And what a beautiful story it has been.
