💭 Planner’s Perspective:

I see people invest so much into weddings, birthdays, showers, and celebrations — all to entertain guests who haven’t called, checked in, or shown up in years. And every time… it backfires.

When you’re building a guest list for any special occasion, ask yourself:

👉 Do they sit at your table for holidays?
👉 Do they check on you — and do you check on them?

If the answer is no, they don’t belong on the list.

Every invitation/event is an investment — in time, money, and emotion.

If someone hasn’t invested in you throughout the years, don’t pour your resources into entertaining them.

Whether it’s $10, $1,000, $10,000, or $100,000…

It never turns out well. Never.

I’m so grateful to be one of the few who have recently had their power restored. There’s a lot I could dwell on regarding what my family has lost and what has been damaged, but it’s nothing compared to what many are experiencing.

This is a season to extend grace, patience, and understanding to all. We are all doing the best we can during such unprecedented times. 🩶
