It’s been a while! I am horrible with posting on my business page. So Meryry Christmas and Happy New year! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday.

I got the privilege of planning two friends of mine weddings and they were so beautiful. I was so honored to be such a huge role in their special day. Making sure everything was perfect.

Not only that but them choosing me instead of someone they didn’t know and that melts my heart.

I am a trained wedding planner.
I am great at my career.
Most importantly, I am passionate about making the bride and grooms day Perfect, worry free and magical.

I may not do it every weekend and promote myself like I should. Because to be honest, this career is very demanding and my kids are in a ton of sports and I can’t stand missing their games.

But I still love being a wedding planner. I love it so unbelievably much and it brings me purpose and joy.

So while I may not be your $10,000 planner that works every single weekend, doesn’t mean I’m not as good as them because we all went to the same training and we all love what we do.

I want to say thank you to those that have kept my career going and kept me enjoying it. I have never turned a wedding down and I would love to help you plan yours as well.

When my daughter goes to business meetings with me I teach her:

Etiquette
Manners
Relationship
Confidence
Leadership
Entrepreneurship
And so much more.
Most importantly, I am teaching her how important, valuable and respected her voice is. I let her engage in the conversations and I introduce her as my assistant.

I love seeing her Learn and flourish.

I would not want any other assistant than her and soon to be River. When I say we are a family business in all of our businesses, I mean it. I cannot wait to see what the world has in store for her.

I have seen a bunch of talk lately about the difference in a VENUE COORDINATOR and a WEDDING COORDINATOR.

I can completely understand the confusion but they are not the same thing. Do they help the other when needed? Of course. Because that’s what we do in this industry.

Venue coordinator
Is just that. For the venue. They handle lights, make sure guests are not breaking rules, make sure the venue is clean and back to par once wedding is over, etc.

Wedding coordinator
Is for the couple. We are to make sure everything goes smoothly, vendors are where they need to be and on time, we are helping fluff and bustle the dress, we are making sure their glass is not empty, their plates are made, the cake is cut on time and the photographer is ready, the correct song is being played for the first dance, etc.

PERFECT EXAMPLE!!!!
I was working a wedding as a VENUE COORDINATOR With the venue manager. A guest ran over the water line outside. So what did we have to do ALL NIGHT LONG???? Literally fill the back of the toilets with water jugs bought from the store that someone had to drive to get…..the ENTIRE night. And this wasn’t a 1 or 2 stall bathroom. This had 5 stalls in both the girls and the boys.

So who was taking care of the bride and groom? 🤷🏻‍♀️ NOT THE VENUE COORDINATOR!

I have been very MIA because we found out some big news and we took some time to enjoy it and take it easy. But here we are, back at it. We are so excited to add a baby boy to our beautiful family.
