NEW Graphic!!! I've already updated the pinned post on my main page, but instead of Www.marchingpirates.org, this QR Code goes directly to their designated Give Campus page (saves the step of hitting the "Give Now" button. Also added the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade star for a little more flair. I'll be swapping out my garb card soon, so whenever you see me you'll have a chance to scan and give towards our Marching Pirates' once in a lifetime trip to NYC, and their opportunity to share the sound of Pirate Nation on an epic and world renowned stage.

Please like and share and spread the word.
GO PIRATES!!!!!

POV: You're at the ECU Homecoming Parade and just watched the East Carolina Marching Pirates ECU Color Guard ECU Dance Team and ECU Cheerleading go by, and you haven't stopped smiling.

I can only imagine what I'll look like watching the band march in the Macy's 2027 Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Shout out to the amazingly talented ECU Dance Team . I got a chance to pose with them during their appearance at the East Carolina Volleyball pink day match yesterday.

Did you know that they're a part of East Carolina Marching Pirates , which means they also get to perform at the 2027 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade? YES! These incredible ladies add flair and visuals to the band's halftime shows, AND they're on the sidelines elevating game day with their routines. Now they get to help showcase the ECU Pirates on the Macy's red star mainstage, viewed by millions of people nationwide.

They need your help to get there!
Come on Pirate Nation! Assemble the fleet and get our Pirates to NYC!!!!

I met my "lady pirate sister" in the Boneyard today! This is Kira, an ECU senior with a focus in Fashion Marketing. She told me she's been wanting to put together her own garb kit since her Freshman year, and she absolutely NAILED the fit.
Kira if you're reading this, thank you for the picture and talking with me today. I wish you all the best in your studies and pursuing your passions. I hope to see you again in Dowdy! Oh, and you should definitely wear your outfit to a Ren Faire. It's amazing. 💜🏴‍☠️💛
Fair winds and following seas, Pirate.

From now until the goal is achieved, I'm going to have this QR Code sign on my garb for every ECU appearance. Scanning it takes you straight to the East Carolina Marching Pirates designated Give Campus website. All funds received are allocated to covering this trip to perform in Macy's 101st Thanksgiving Day Parade in 2027, so please give what you can to make this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity happen for our Pirates. They're ready to invade NYC and Paint the Big Apple PURPLE, so let's help put the wind in their sails and give them smooth seas to carry them there!

When you see me at ECU Athletics events, be sure to scan this code. You can also help by sharing this and passing the word! Please and thank you for supporting our Marching Pirates!

They are the ONLY NC Band to be marching. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity, and our Pirates are ready to Paint the Big Apple PURPLE!!!

From Greenville to New York City, the Pirates are on the march. 🥁

In 2027, the Marching Pirates will debut on West 35th Street for the first time at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

And they earned their spot in a big way. Selected from about 100 high school and collegiate bands, the Marching Pirates will be the only band to represent North Carolina in 2027, according to a Macy's representative. For the students behind the instruments, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to represent ECU and the state of North Carolina in one of the country’s premier annual events.

“We’re going to put them on the biggest marching band stage in the world,” Marching Pirates director Dr. Joe Busuito said.
