Hiring a floral design team that understands organization, TIMING and order of operations is pretty crucial to making certain your wedding day setup begins and ends in a smooth and seamless fashion.
Often times the floral installations have to be started very early, some venues even have rules about all hanging installations needing to be finished by 11am so they can set the floorplan. And sometimes you can’t start on the cake table until 4pm when the baker arrives with the cake.
Table top things can’t go on until linens are set and Ceremony aisle flowers can’t go down until the chairs are in place.
You will need your bouquets in time for first look somewhere offsite, but not your corsages, those aren’t needed until just before ceremony time when mothers and grandmother will be getting ready to walk down the aisle.
Also, if it’s hot outside, we can’t start on your ceremony floral until 2-3 hours before your ceremony. Any earlier and your flowers will be wilting during the ceremony.
If you’re reusing any of your floral from ceremony at your reception, we will be back to “flip” those pieces and stay relatively unseen by your guests 😉
At the end of the night we have to get back right after sendoff to clear your tables of centerpieces so the rental company or venue can start breakdown, but we can’t start taking the floral chandelier down until the rental company clears the dance floor.
Some items have to be built on site, and some need to be made ahead of time.
We have to stay out of the way, but also available when it’s time to start setting arrangements out and lighting candles.
Florists are usually the first ones to arrive and the last ones to leave. We spend long hours setting everything up, and good teams make it look easy by planning ahead.
Hiring a strong team, with experience who understands TIMING, will help your day run seamlessly☺️
STATICE is the team you need! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
