Through it all I didn’t think I would ever smile again bc life has life for me the past 3 years! Failed attempts to end it all, crying myself to sleep, questioning/hating God, and grief had a chokehold on me I was just deeply down in a place that I couldn’t even pick myself up from. So yes the glow is real, the happy Carson is coming around y’all because I’m coming through on the WINNING side! Choosing yourself is one of the hardest things sometimes in life but so worth it! Never settle for anything less than you deserve! ❤️💚❤️💚 I’m clapping for me in this season bc I deserve that 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Thanksgiving was different this year without both my parents but we made the best of it. We said yes to serving others! Holidays are not the same but we are learning new ways to cope with life! Everyday at easy but saying yes made my heart smile and we enjoyed every moment of it! 🩷💙💪🏾💙🩷

You can’t force anyone to commit to you. They’re either willing or not. If their act or behavior makes it clear that they’re not ready, then don’t start lying to yourself to keep them around. Convincing yourself that you’re fine with it when you’re not will make you resentful. Just leave and focus on meeting someone who shares the same feelings and desires as you. You might not be someone’s first choice, but to the right person, you’ll always be a GREAT choice. is coming 💪🏾🫶🏾

Long post alert but worth the read to encourage somebody.

I was made to believe that every woman had to have a perfect 10 “coke” body shape to be accepted, but ladies I’m here to tell you that’s a lie. Being big is not healthy and very uncomfortable. I have started and stopped on my weight lost journey so many times. Is it easy? No, but it’s worth it when you truly determined.

I started my journey for the wrong reason, off of the words of my so called friends and relationship/partnership “types” or not being in a certain status body wise. I’m here to tell you sis, today I’m doing this for Carson bc I am healthier, feel better, I look better, and my confidence is at an all time high. All of those things have been in my mind and even when you can’t see changes keep going.

Never dim your light for NOBODY SIS and love you no matter where you are. Keep going sis and even if you start over a million times it’s ok. I’m here to say 💪🏾💪🏾 IM DOWN 34lbs 👏🏾👏🏾 and I have 15-20 more lbs to meet my goal before my next phase in life!
