Good morning everyone!
Today is Tuesday 8/11.
Things arent going how I want them to go at the Wade Hampton store.
We aren't smooth. We arent operating as a team.
In turn, we are making mistakes. Mistakes that shouldn't be happening.
I've got a lot of good people in this store. Problem is, they're mostly new.
So, in order to get everyone on the same page and provide a better experience for you our customers. We are going to shut down the Wade Hampton this Sunday 8/16/26 and do an employee training day.
Thank you for your understanding in this.
We will reopen the following Monday.
We are strong, this will only make us stronger and better.
Employees will be more confident and you the customer will have a much better experience.

Good evening!
Tomorrow Greenville county schools start.
The unofficial end of summer.
Reminder, those who live near a school, it's going to be chaos.
Those, like me, who have the pleasure of travelling 385/85 in the morning, it's going to be chaos.
Give yourself extra time.
Schools say, the first week allow for extra time. Really, it's the first month.

Today, I'm remembering my friend, Mike Ayers.

I was heartbroken to learn of Mike's unexpected passing. It's amazing how someone can leave such a lasting impression from what started as a simple conversation. We spent over an hour talking about catering, BBQ, and life, and from that day on, Mike became much more than a customer to me.

Mike was one of the kindest, most knowledgeable, and encouraging people I've had the privilege of working with. After events, he would often send me a text just to tell me how much he appreciated the food and to thank our team. Those messages always meant so much. In this business, it's easy to remember complaints, but it's people like Mike who remind you why you love what you do.

I'm grateful for every conversation, every laugh, and every word of encouragement he shared. His kindness was genuine, and I know I'm just one of the many people whose life he touched.

My thoughts and prayers are with Mike's family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. Thank you, Mike, for your friendship, your support, and for always taking the time to encourage others.

You will be deeply missed. ❤️
