Several times throughout childhood, I got to join at her grandparent’s house located only 3 doors down from my childhood home.
Growing up waving to “Papa” and seeing his smiling face in the neighborhood was always such a small joy.
He recently went to be with the Lord and I was honored enough to have done two floral arrangements full of Hydrangeas & Lillies (some of his favorites).
The many, many pictures surrounding his flowers at his service plus the suspenders and his camera on display just remind me what a treasure he was and he wasn’t even a relative of mine!
Be more like Wayne/Papa and exude the warmth to those you come into contact simply by kindness!
