So a little back story, Shannon reached out to us when I was leaving my 9-to-5 and she was starting to build her photography business. We clicked immediately, and before long she became part of the family. If you’ve ever worked with her, you know she’s one of a kind. She’s incredibly talented, endlessly hardworking, and somehow manages to make everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera. So many of the images people associate with Japonica Path exist because of her. Forever grateful for her friendship and for the beautiful work she’s created at our little slice of heaven.

It brought me so much joy to bring this wedding crest—designed by Emma of Japonica Path to life!

I truly used every bit of my skill on this piece! Redrew the design, hand-cut the wood, and etched each detail to ensure perfect proportion. Custom hues of buttery yellow, pale green, and hydrangea blue were carefully mixed and hand-painted to achieve a refined, cohesive finish.

I Topped it off with 3D initials for that extra depth. A perfect, lasting keepsake for an unforgettable day. 💛🩵💚

Now booking intimate gatherings at Japonica Path. Not every celebration needs to be a wedding to feel special. Some of the best moments happen around a table with your closest people, in a setting that feels a little different from the everyday. We’ve recently started opening the property for smaller gatherings, from dinners and birthday celebrations to showers and simple evenings that turn into something memorable. It’s quickly become one of my favorite ways to see this place come to life. If you’ve been wanting to host something a little more special, I’d love to have you here.
