Thank you for a super busy Valentines week!

With Valentine’s wrapped up, I’ve made the decision to close this location and move to a new private space that allows for more growth and opportunities. The Greene House is now fully focused on large, private events and McCommons funerals (and yes, still doing Redeemer flowers.) Thank you for 5 years at this location!! Can’t wait to share the new building with all of you when it’s ready!

We cannot take anymore funeral or delivery orders for this weekend. We are also extremely limited on walk in orders. What we have in the cooler today is all we have available. THANK YOU for an incredibly busy Valentine’s weekend! We hope you enjoy🌹♥️

Yesterday afternoon our business received multiple calls within a short period of time and a voicemail that was rude and disrespectful in nature. For clarity, we have been closed on Mondays for several years, and messages left after hours are returned the next business day whenever possible.

We are always happy to help customers who communicate respectfully. However, abusive language and behavior toward small business owners or staff will not be tolerated.

When people ask why we are changing our business model, this is part of the reason. We are choosing to move forward in a way that protects our time, energy, and well being while continuing to serve our community with professionalism and care.

Thank you to the many kind, understanding customers who make doing what we do worthwhile. We truly appreciate you.

It’s January and that means the changes we’ve been announcing are now in effect.

We are no longer making floral deliveries outside of large events such as weddings, funerals and Valentine’s Day. Day to day floral orders have slowed way down this past year and it’s not worth it to keep flowers in stock anymore as we are throwing 80% of them away. If you’d like to order for a funeral for McCommons, the best way to do it is through the obituaries as we no longer offer retail hours and the obituary order gets sent to us immediately after you place it.

We will be in the shop today and tomorrow off and on (Thursday 12/11 and Friday 12/12) working on a wedding. Stop in for some poinsettias and holiday bows!

Just a reminder, we are not doing day of flower deliveries anymore as we are phasing day-to-day deliveries and retail out completely. We throw more flowers away than we sell and it is just not worth it anymore. We will be keeping our focus on events such as weddings, funerals and private parties. We’ll also still provide flowers for special times like Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day.

We’ll be open on Wednesday 11/26 from 11-2 in case you need any host gifts! The grab and go cooler will be full of bouquets and our giant poinsettias will be here Tuesday afternoon!!

Big Changes Are Blooming!

We're evolving to focus on what we do best - creating stunning floral designs for weddings, events and special holidays like Valentine's Day and Mother's Day.

As part of this change, we will no longer offer same-day deliveries or in-store retail shopping (no more retail hours after Dec. 20th.) We do still offer planned/next day delivery, no Sundays, as of now. We will no longer do vase deliveries starting in January, but we will deliver Valentines week.
