YMCA paint party with the elementary kiddos Thursday was so much fun! We talked about kindness and what that looked like to others. We painted kindness rocks, followed by some wooden birdhouses, kindness bookmarks, and then used twizzlers, kissy lips, and candy eyes to make a silly cupcake face snack.
The kids left with their rocks to spread kindness through the community. If you see a YMCA mentoring rock share it on Facebook!

The YMCA mentoring program high schoolers painted a turkey to give to someone they love and appreciate to show their gratitude on Thursday! They also told us what they were thankful for on the leaf! The plan is to make a thankful tree so everyone can see at the Y!
