Two years ago, we lost my oldest sister, and as an entrepreneur, I’ve been trying to find my footing ever since. Both she and my middle sister mean everything to me. As the baby boy with more than a 15-year age gap, they helped raise me and loved me like I was their own.
Even in grief, I’ve found joy. To create income that supports my nieces. To have my middle sister still show up and pour into our events. To watch our family enjoy the land God blessed us with just days before my oldest sister passed is everything.
I told my wife it was time to return to social media. Truthfully, I don’t know exactly what this journey will look like, but I do know one thing: my family will be in everything I do. This is for them.
If you’re walking through a hard season, just remember, you can do hard things. You’ve got this.
Sending love to everyone who is still grieving, even when the world expects you to move on.
PS. While our nearly 2 acre pond is technically not a lake lol, we will now be lovingly calling it “Lake Ann” after my big sister Kimberly Ann Howard❤️
