When customers view a Cherry tree, Redbud, Magnolia or any Spring flowering tree, their response is it only blooms for a week?

Not true! Especially this Spring with cool (normal) temperatures.
4-6 weeks for most Cherries. Enjoy all the color.
The longer bloom will increase fruit yield because of better pollination.

Spring flower longevity is dictated by temperatures, not the plant.

Today's lesson is; Be careful what you ask for. Warmer isn't necessarily better??

It's very humbling, owning a Garden Center. We're so dependent on the weather and it appears we're going back to normal temperatures?

I encourage everyone to find time to enjoy the early bulbs and Spring flowers. Tulips and Daffodils come but once a year. They're beautiful!!!

Brunnera is also lovely and it's supposed to bloom later in May.
It's a unique occurrence to have 2 of my favorites blooming simultaneously. 80 degrees in April does some funny things.

The Holiday season remains very festive and these Traditional Plants are great gift ideas when visiting friends and family.

Personally I enjoy the bold colors of Christmas Cactus and Cyclamen.
The Rosemary Cones provide a soothing fragrance. All these plants will perform through the New Year and into 2026.
