My first wedding consult in the new building ✔️

It’s definitely not ideal sitting in a construction zone but it’s truly filled my heart with joy. This was a phone consult and I’m so thankful I got to do it here. This is a new beginning in a special place. My dad longed for the day this shop would become Westown Florist. Here we are making his and my dreams come true. I’d do anything to have him right beside me during this but I know he’s watching over us. He is guiding me and those around me every step of the way.

I pray for the big things to come. In time this building will be complete and open for business. I’m truly just leaning in a trusting the process and Gods plan.

An update about moving ✨

I truly had hoped that I was going to be able to open our doors at the beginning of October. But, I just physically can’t make it happen. I truly am bummed because I want to get back to doing things the way they were before our first move. Currently we are starting our biggest projects this week! This includes electrical inside & out, outside drains installed, digging & backfilling the side of the shop, hvac, moving the cooler, and a few other things.

I wish I could make all of this go faster but these things are just out of my control. Other personal things have happened that made me take a week and a half off. But, I promise WE WILL BE BACK!!!!

God has called us to be back on Main Street. That exactly where we will be regardless what the devil throws our way. I pray that we come back stronger and better. 🫶🏻

Lastly, we aren’t taking daily orders til we get settled in to the new shop. I’ll update you all as soon as we are! I currently AM TAKING bereavement arrangements from families like casket sprays, standing sprays, and urns. I’m also still meeting with brides and doing wedding florals. If you need any of these services please reach out. 🌼

Having the opportunity to create bereavement arrangements is such an honor. These arrangements are one last tribute that tells a story of the things they loved. Shop Update ✨

So much has already happened at the shop but it doesn’t look that way. We spent weeks just cleaning out all of the stuff in the shop and then moving it. It does have some stuff left but we are finally starting the major renovations inside. This week I’m hoping the big changes will start!

This weeks list:
•Finishing the ceilings
•Outside Drain placed
•digging, sealing, & backfilling the side of the building
•outside electrical
•inside electrical
•mold & mildew removal
•paint prep

This might take two weeks but we are definitely starting this week!!! I’ll keep you all updated 🫶🏻
