What was a mountaintop experience with God for you in 2024?
As you go into the new year, keep reminding yourself of that moment, that feeling you had when you felt Him come near to you. But don’t just build your relationship with the Lord on just your feelings. We as humans are just to fickle and changeable to sustain
A relationship purely based on our emotions. So many things around us impact us and sometimes obscure our view of God, which might cause seeds of doubt to sprout and our faith to crumble.
But when your faith is built on Jesus, on the knowledge and the promises His word guarantees us, what happens can shake you to the core, but it can never rob you of your relationship with and your trust in God. He remains the same, nothing can change Him or the love He has for you. When you choose Jesus every single day, you’ll see His presence even in the hardest times. His Holy Spirit will give you peace and the ability to find joy in Him, just like the biggest ‘heroes’ of our faith have done for centuries.
When the priests spoke this blessing over the Israelites, the Lord’s Name would rest on them.
That’s what I pray for you in 2025. Wherever this year takes you, may the Lord be with you and keep you. May He be gracious to you in every circumstance and be your peace at all times. May you walk with Him, so His face shines upon you and His loving presence will surround you every moment of every single day.
Prayer: O God, Your days are without beginning and without end. We dedicate this coming year to You. Give us such prosperity as You know is good for us, and make us abound in doing whatever is pleasing to You; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
