Some of you may be wondering where is our group? Because of health issues of Linda and her husband, David, there has not been any activities. We were hoping to have an activity every quarter but it has not happened as yet. If another group is meeting calling themselves "Roses Among Thorns" it is not us. Linda started the group and has not turned the leadership over to anyone. God bless you all!

Had a board meeting yesterday. Please continue to pray for Linda's health. We will be having 1 activity every quarter and as soon as details are worked out we will let you know. We are looking forward to see our Roses again and have some sister time.

We had a wonderful Tea. As most of you know we will not be having any more Tea's. Linda has some health issues and has been ordered by the Doctor to step down. Please pray for her and her husband, David. We will have our last Retreat March 19 & 20. The cost is $20.00. If you plan on going, please call Linda and let her know. I know stepping down from Roses has been a difficult decision for Linda. She wants all you to know that she loves you and her door and phone are always open and may God bless you all.

Please join us for a very special Febuary Tea. Dress in Pink. There will many surprises. We are having the food catered so if you plan on coming please let Linda know. We also have a Retreat on March 19 and 20 scheduled. It will be at the Ozark Conference Center. We are not sure of the price yet. If you plan on going we need to know soon.

Beautiful! Our Christmas Tea was simply wonderful. The Victorian Theme was beyond belief. The Christmas tree had such beautiful handmade ornaments. The tables were so pretty with the coal oil lamps, beautiful roses and greenery. Of course the food was so yummy. Each Rose brought a finger food and we stuffed ourselves and the hot cider and tea was a nice touch. We also enjoyed the wonderful music that we had. We appreciate all of those who came and made our day special. God has been so good to our Roses and we are looking forward to the blessings He will provide in 2013.

Wednesday is our Christmas Tea. Bring finger foods and a $5.00 wrapped gift. We are going to have some wonderful food, make some wonderful memoires and see our beautiful Roses. For you who are not able to make it, have a Merry Christmas and remember "Jesus is the reason for the season."

Had a wonderful Tea Cup Blessing Tea. Marilyn Mathis spoke on "Treasure in earthen vessels" and was such a blesiing. We enjoyed sharing God's blessings in our lives. The food was fantastic and the hot tea was special. Our Christmas Tea is going to be great. Bring a wrapped $5.00 gift and a finger food for our buffet. The Board and Outreach Teams will meet after the Ladies Lunch Break in Conway at Second Baptist Church on the first Wednesday of December.

Please pray for the family of Clydene Chaney. She is now with Jesus and we will miss her so much. She was such an inspriration to so many. Also, Ann Alley's husband passed last week. Prayers are coveted for the family.

We are looking forward to a new web site. So look for it soon. Also, our Christmas Tea will be fantastic. We will have our wonderful finger food buffet, Christmas gift exchange and Mrs. Katie Patron will give us a wonderful concert. We are so excited to see the wonderful Christmas decorations and we are so thankful to have a new group to help us cook, serve and decorate.
