✏️Let’s talk Mother of the Bride Dresses! We are excited for the Fall 2025 collections to arrive in store! This style is just one of many that will be hitting the racks in a few months! If you plan on starting your search for your Mother of the Bride dress, we have a few tips for you:
• Shipping takes around 4 months so plan to start shopping early!
• Designer dresses are made long, so make sure you leave yourself 2-3 months extra for alterations once your dress arrives!
• Be cautious when shopping online, designer dresses don’t normally run true to size, and every designer uses a different size chart!
• Expect that you will need alterations with any dress that you order. Since dresses come in standardized sizing, it is unusual that a person will measure exactly within one size category for bust, waist, and hip measurements. Even if you fall within the same size for each measurement, you will still likely need a hem.
•TRY TO ENJOY THE PROCESS! We know that everyone is their own worst critic, and shopping for a dress when you don’t feel confident in your own skin can be grueling. Just remember that this moment is once in a lifetime and the wedding day will forever be remembered as the couple’s “Happily Ever After,” it won’t be remembered as the day that everyone saw the mole on your back!
