Hello Everyone,
Sam and I would like to take the time to respond to many of your concerns regarding our wedding August 29th, of this year. After consulting with our vendors and deliberation amongst friends and family we have decided to go through with our weddings plans. Ultimately, it is the best decision for us at this time. Tennessee is currently exempting religious ceremonies such as weddings and funerals from closures due to Covid. We understand that this may not comply with other state mandates as we are aware many of our guests will be traveling from out of state. However, we ask that you respect our decision as we are aware it may in fact impede attendance. With that being said, we want everyone to make the best informed decision for themselves without any judgement. We want everyone to feel safe so we are working diligently to procure social distancing without compromising our big day. We are asking everyone to monitor their symptoms the days leading up to the event. We will be taking people’s temperatures so please plan to arrive 15-30minutues prior so we have time to account for everyone. Parking is also limited so please plan to carpool or “Uber.” Masks are recommended but not required. If you don’t have a mask one will be provided to you as well as hand sanitizer. The ceremony and cocktail reception will be outside. Dinner will be individually served indoors with the barn doors and windows left open and ceiling fans circulating fresh air throughout the facility. Seating will be assigned according to family with 6-8 people per table. We currently have 110 RSVP’s with the building capacity of 150. We are assuming that number will go down as people will probably take it upon themselves to opt out. I am asking anyone who has already RSVP’d that has a change of heart to please send me a direct message. I do not need an explanation. Sam and I wholeheartedly understand and want everyone to take an account of their own health and do what’s right for them. We also want our guests to feel safe and enjoy themselves so it’s very important I know exactly who's coming so we can make appropriate accommodations as these are precarious times we are living in.
