Our family would like to welcome your next gathering at our home -The Side Porch. This picturesque 17 acres takes you to a more laid back time and place. Feel like you are in your own backyard and stroll near the stream and fresh spring while enjoying the hay fields and wooded areas. The spacious white washed barn is perfect for your life's big moments. We welcome your reunion, shower, birthday or

other special occasions and hope to make you feel like we have been family all along. The barn has a full kitchen and bathrooms, loft and spacious side porch. Our favorite special moments are weddings!!! We hope the Bride and her maids feel right at home in the farmhouse's Bridal Suite. 🎄✨ CHRISTMAS MINIS ARE OPENING EARLY! ✨🎄

We’ve had several of you reach out wanting to book a Christmas Mini sooner than we originally planned, so we’ve decided to open booking EARLY!

📅 Booking opens Wednesday, September 2nd
⏰ 11:00 AM — YES, THIS WEDNESDAY!

At 11 AM, we’ll post the booking link on our Instagram Story, where you’ll be able to choose which location you’d like to book!

🎄 TWO LOCATIONS TO CHOOSE FROM:

✨ 1. THE BRIDAL PARLOR
A cozy, naturally lit Christmas setting featuring a bed and several Christmas trees. With lots of windows and natural light, this space is perfect for a bright, classic Christmas feel.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Capacity: 15 - 20 people

📖 2. “CHRISTMAS MINIS” — THE GROOM’S ROOM
A moodier, darker, storybook-inspired Christmas setting for something a little different. The lighting in this room changes drastically throughout the day, so we’ll do our best to post photos once the setup is complete so you can get the best idea of the look!

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Capacity: 5–10 people max

📸 PHOTOGRAPHER DETAILS

• Minimum booking: 1 hour
• $80 per hour, per location
• You can book both locations, but each location must be booked and paid for separately.
• Unfortunately, we are not able to split up time or payment.
• Payment can be made by Venmo or cash/check the day of.
• Your booked hour includes all personal setup AND teardown time. If you’re bringing lights, additional props, etc., please make sure to account for that within your booked hour so we can respect the next photographer’s time slot.
• You’ll receive a confirmation email with these reminders after booking.
• Parking for both locations is in our main venue parking area.

Not our typical content but we have a beautiful wedding gown for sale!

This is the Lulu wedding dress by Hayley Paige, the Blush Collection!

Only worn once and has been cleaned!
The dress has also been carefully stored hanging in a garment bag to help keep it in excellent condition.

Dress Size: 4-6
Additions: Straps have been added and some lace along the edges for dainty details.

For reference the bride in the above photos is 5’3 and was 140-145lbs at the time of the wedding!

Step inside our Christmas Cottage! 🎄
This year we will be transforming the Groom’s Room into a moody, old world Christmas nook!
✨Think candlelight, vintage, lush greenery, and cozy details making this season feel timeless. ✨

We are opening up this space for photographers ((or mom with an iphone)) in the beginning of November. 📅

Happy Birthday & a proud goodbye to our very own, Tristen Mintz ! ♥️🎉

Tristen has been part of The Side Porch gals for many years in so many different ways. Always with a helpful heart & a cheerful attitude - so it was no surprise to us when we were told she has been called to missions!
Tristen’s last wedding with us was last night, such a bittersweet moment. We know she is leaving us to do bigger & better works of the Lord! 💛
Tristen will be serving in Costa Rica for 6 months! If you are interested in supporting her through prayers, positive words of encouragement, or financial assistance - please do so! 🙏

Tristen, we will miss you but are so proud of this faithful leap! 😘🫂

June 20th, 2026 turned out to be one of the most iconic weddings! These photos capture the day perfectly. With creams, chocolate browns, and burgundy this vision came together perfectly.
