It was a joy this morning meeting 10 of the 12 ‘Scavenger Hunt’ winners* from Sunday’s 3rd annual Gray Community Day.

One of the winners, Faith, just closed on her house in Gray last week, yeah!

*12 winners are: Barb, Mia, Liz, Elizabeth, Faith, Hazel, Stephen, Sandy, Teo, Holden, Kayden, and Leo.

Here are our eight 2025 Chili Cook-Off Contestants battling against each other this Sunday, May 18th from 12-2 pm (when the JUDGING will stop). After 2 pm, you can grab second tastings, while supplies last.

04039: 3rd annual Gray Community Day celebrates on Sunday, May 18th from 12-3 pm at 24 Main Street, Gray - RAIN or shine*.
Come judge our 8 Chili Cook-off entries + create your free ice cream sundae while supplies last (+ old-fashioned s'mores and chalk art drawing - if the weather holds out) + enter our Scavenger Hunt for chance to win local prizes + activities for the kiddos + get connected with 22 groups serving Gray residents.

Mary's Memorial Walk takes place at 11:30 am; registration opens at 11 am @ First Congregational Church's Parish House on Brown Street.

* If rain - Community Day takes place inside Newbegin Gym; if dry/decent weather - Community Day takes place in the Little League softball field behind Town Hall.

A glimpse at last year's, 2nd annual Gray Community Day filled with: free ice cream sundaes; six Chili Cook-Off Contestants: Burn the B***y, Hot T***s Chili, Two Mums Chili-tastic Chicken Chili, Very Vegan Zimmerchili, Winner Winner Chicken Dinner Chili, and WS Walcott Medicine Show; kids activities; and connecting with awesome community volunteers. Thank you, everyone who participated and attended!

3rd annual Gray Community Day is Sunday, May 18th now starting at noon to 3 pm. Mary's Memorial Walk takes place at 11:30 (registration starts at 11 am at the Parish House next door; Chili Judging (tasting) starts at 12 pm along with free s'mores and free ice cream sundaes while supplies last; Pickle Ball and Basket Ball ribbon cutting is at 2:00 pm. See you ALL on the 18th!
