I thought it would be so much worse the way that wind howled and whipped. I had trouble just getting inside the house. It was powerful.
So our picnic gazebo is tattered beyond repair ( I think the frame is still good🤔). I had a number of beautiful flower stalks ripped out of the ground and flowers strewn around in the mud & muck. Many broke off at the ground ( about 3' tall plants) so they are done. I will be cleaning up for a bit, but I still have more waiting to fulfill our summer/ fall flower dreams.❤️
I guess tomorrow will be the next batch of blooms on the flower cart.
My thoughts go out to the rest of you who are cleaning up after the storms.

It's the morning after folks...I will N O T have flowers out this morning. I need to get out and clean up from lastnight. I'll let you know after I access the flower beds and the days weather if I will have some out later this evening.
