Let’s gooo! Our 22nd competitor and 6th performer highlight reel for Week 2. Competing this fall in the 50th, Curt Fletcher!

Bio:

Curt Fletcher is widely respected as one of the strongest writers working in stand-up today, combining originality, insight and effortless stage presence into a performance audiences instantly connect with.
Curt’s comedy offers a sharp, thoughtful take on how the world works, often prompting audiences to laugh and think at the same time. His perspective feels familiar yet completely fresh, leading crowds to say, “That’s so true,” or “Why didn’t I ever think of that?” His relaxed delivery and natural likability create a welcoming environment that makes every show feel personal and engaging.
Highly regarded by fellow comedians and club owners alike, Curt Fletcher is known for his relentless work ethic, strong material, and consistency on stage. His originality and well-crafted comedy has led to him performing at some of the biggest clubs in the country with some of the biggest names in comedy such as Theo Von, Chad Daniels, Jim Norton, Brian Posehn, Kyle Kinane, Doug Stanhope, Jeff Dye, Kevin Nealon, and Jackie Kashian to name a few.
He was a two time semifinalist in Denver’s New Faces Contest, a semifinalist in the Funniest Person in LA contest, a semifinalist in the HBO Lucky 21 competition, and he won the Great Southwest Laff Off just two years after starting comedy. A toast to Dolly! A songwriter, singer, actress, businesswoman, storyteller, philanthropist, dreamer, and champion of people. A true life of many colors: funny and glamorous, tender and tough, humble and larger than life.

She showed us what you can do with a big dream, a big heart, and a good attitude.

Thank you, Dolly, for being so wonderfully, unapologetically you. We’re all a little more colorful because you were here.

A month from tonight, Michael Cleveland will be playing fiddle at The Center
He started playing at four years old, inspired by local musicians in southern Indiana. He is now a 12-time IBMA Fiddle Player of the Year, a GRAMMY winner, and an inductee of the National Fiddler Hall of Fame. His new album Lovin' of the Game features collaborations with Billy Strings, Vince Gill, and Béla Fleck. Built on a foundation of loss and held together by genuine love for the music.
This is the kind of playing you remember.
