Booker T Jones -- architect of Memphis soul, Rock & Roll Hall of Famer, and the man behind some of the most iconic sounds in American music history -- plays at The Center this Friday, June 5th.

They recorded in Iceland. Brazil. The California desert. Chile. They picked up Arabic oud and Indonesian gamelan and sitar along the way and wove it into rock guitar.

The band is called Drink The Sea The Sea and it is made up of Peter Buck, Alain Johannes, and Barrett Martin among others.
