There are moments that mark us forever. Moments that split life into before and after.
I lost my best friend in a tragic accident I was with her. Most know this story. This is why we named our daughter’s Aubrey and Audrey. One minute, we were together—laughing, living, planning forever—and the next… she was gone. And I was still here. We have her mom in our live’s forever she Is GMA. 💕
It’s a pain I can’t put into words. Some days it still doesn’t feel real. But through all the heartache, one truth gives me peace—she knew Jesus.
She gave her life to Him, I got to witness that moment… and now, that memory is one of the most precious gifts I carry.
Because while her life here ended far too soon, her story didn’t end that day.
She stepped into eternity with the Savior she had come to know and love. And that gives me hope.
It’s a hope I want everyone to have.
If you’re walking through life with people you love—your friends, your siblings, your coworkers—don’t wait to share Jesus with them. Not out of fear, but out of love. Don’t assume they already know, or that there will be another chance.
Tell them how deeply they’re loved.
Show them the kind of grace that changes everything.
Live in a way that points them to the One who brings light into even the darkest places.
I thank God for the moment she gave her heart to Him. I don’t know how I’d breathe through this grief without knowing that truth. And I want others to know that same peace.
To my beautiful friend—thank you for the joy, the laughter, the memories. I miss you more than words can say. But I’ll see you again.
And until then, I’ll keep sharing the hope we both found… so others can know the love of Jesus, too.
Because eternity is real.
Because heaven is home.
Because love like this is too important to keep quiet about.
