Christopher Lyle (yep — the guy in the yellow suit) has been part of the Ga***rd magic for the better part of 15 years.

You may have seen him as a Scarecrow, Topher the Toy Maker, an elf, a cowboy, Tweedledum… or one of the MANY characters he brings to life.

But here’s the part most people don’t know…
He doesn’t just do balloons.

✨ Final Night of the Season ✨

Tonight is my last night at the Ga***rd Texan for the ICE season—and it also marks the close of my 21st Christmas in this incredible place.

Over the years, I’ve had the absolute privilege of watching kids grow up, adults… well… stay exactly the same 😉, and seeing the pure wonder in the eyes of some truly special people. That never gets old.

For 21 years, this has never felt like “just a job.” It’s been moments, memories, and connections—and I’m incredibly grateful for every single one of you who stopped, smiled, waved, laughed, or took a photo with me along the way.

If I haven’t seen you yet this season, tonight’s your last chance — I’ll be here until 8:00 PM.

And don’t worry…
👉 We’ll see you next season. Summer and Christmas.

this sparkly Nutcracker might be planting dangerous thoughts about a new costume idea for next season. ✨👀
So now the real question is:

🎄✨ When you know where the good lighting still lives… you use it. ✨🍨

One of my favorite regular visitors stopped by, and we may have strategically slipped into La Argentina Gelato for a quick Christmas moment. Why? Because these days, finding a well-lit, decorated photo spot in the evenings has become a bit of a holiday scavenger hunt.

There used to be so many Christmas trees and beautifully lit areas around the hotel — perfect for helping families create magical memories. Lately though… let’s just say the decorations have been getting thinner year by year.

So a huge thank-you to La Argentina Gelato for keeping a warm, festive, well-lit vignette alive. You’re officially doing Santa’s work. 🎅✨

And hey… Ga***rd management, if you’re watching 👀 — a few dedicated, well-lit evening photo spots would make a lot of guests (and one very tall Nutcracker) extremely happy. Just sayin’. 😄

Every year, without fail, one of my favorite traditions is seeing Julie and her amazing family during their Girls Gone Ga***rd visit here at the Ga***rd Texan.

This year marks their 10th annual trip, and those smiling faces never get old. Moments like this are exactly why I love what I do — familiar faces, shared laughs, and memories that grow year after year.
