🎉 A Little Rain, a Lot of Joy – Henry’s 4th Birthday at Moon Flower Farm! 🎣🧁

We had the sweetest time hosting Henry’s fishing-themed 4th birthday party this weekend! A quick rain shower came through, but it cleared up just in time — and honestly, it made the perfect puddles for the kids to splash in. 👣💦

Barefoot and laughing, they spent the day running through bubbles, casting fishing lines, jumping in puddles, and making memories that felt like pure magic.

🌙 The Story Behind Our Name 🌸

Our name holds a special meaning close to our hearts. The moon flower was a favorite of a beloved family member who found peace in planting and watching these magical blooms unfurl and glow under the stars.✨ She taught us to slow down, to notice the quiet beauty of nature, and to find joy in simple moments.

To honor her memory, we placed a moon flower quilt square on our barn, a barn built by our great-grandfather, standing strong through generations of love, labor, and celebration.

Today, that quilt square is part of the Alabama Barn Quilt Trail. At Moon Flower Farm, we carry our family's legacy into every detail and we’re honored to share that spirit with every couple who celebrates here.

🌲 Cedar with a Story 🌿
One of our favorite features at Moon Flower Farm is the beautiful cedar wood used throughout the venue — and it’s full of heart and heritage.

The cedar trees were cut right here on the farm by a father and his daughter, then milled next door at a local sawmill — keeping it all close to home. The wood was transformed into stunning bar countertops and bathroom vanities, each with its own unique charm.

You’ll notice the natural bark edges, knotted branches, and rustic grain, all left intentionally to celebrate the beauty of the wood and the story behind it. It’s more than just decor, it’s a labor of love, built by family and rooted in the land.

🌸 Everything’s in Bloom at Moon Flower Farm!
Summer is showing off and we’re loving every second of it! The flowers are bursting with color, the blueberries are ripe and ready, and we’ve even welcomed some sweet baby birds this week! 🐣💙

💍We had the joy of celebrating Mr. & Mrs. Duckett this past weekend, and what a stunning day it was!

The bride was absolutely radiant, and the touches of dusty blue throughout the wedding were soft, romantic, and simply beautiful. From the florals to the dresses to the decor, every detail came together perfectly to reflect their love and style.

It was a gorgeous day filled with laughter, happy tears, and unforgettable memories. Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs. Duckett! We wish you a lifetime of love and happiness!💙
