Born and raised in Flint, Michigan, DJay Tron has been a lover of music since he was a child. His natural ear for music was discovered during a hearing test in elementary school. In 2010, he began his DJ career and has since gained experience in a variety of settings, including radio, corporate events, weddings, clubs, bars, private parties, and festivals. He has also opened for a number of local
and national musical artists, such as SOMO, Kaylin & Miles, Tee-Fli, and Tinashe. Tron's style is heavily influenced by hip hop and funk, and he has multiple affiliations with cultural hip hop associations and groups across the state of Michigan. He was also a co-producer of the weekly mix show The Jam Session on WRCL Flint's Club 93.7. After graduating from the University of Michigan, Tron and his wife moved to Grand Rapids, where they have been living for almost 7 years. He is a friendly and easy-going guy who loves to see people having a great time dancing to the music he loves.
