As of this month, I have officially closed The Wooden Spoon, and after much prayer, I’ve decided to focus this next season on my real estate and my homecoming mum businesses, both of which I’m excited to continue growing.
What started in March of 2020 as a small catering company in Grandview grew into something far bigger than I ever imagined. Over the years, it evolved into custom decorated sugar cookies and baked goods, and along the way it became such a meaningful part of my life. I am incredibly grateful for every order, every message, every referral, and every bit of encouragement you gave me. This business was built during a season that required faith, perseverance, and a lot of late nights. I truly believe God opened doors at exactly the right times, and He surrounded me with the most supportive customers and community I could have asked for. I’m also endlessly thankful for my family, who stood beside me through the long hours, the busy holidays, and the growth that came with it all.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting The Wooden Spoon, for trusting me with your celebrations, and for being part of something so special. This business will always hold a place in my heart, and I’ll forever be grateful for the memories made along the way.
