When your couples are just as down for an adventure as you are, the best kind of magic happens. 🙌
Kate and Matthew’s day at The Rutledge downtown was seriously a dream—gorgeous light, great energy, and the kind of love that makes our job so easy.

These two!! Mic. Drop. 🎤 That’s it. That’s the post. 🥹

I seriously can’t believe I have to wait a whole year to photograph their wedding! The joy these two bring is unreal. Every serious shot was followed by 20 frames of pure belly laughs—and we loved every second of it.

So grateful for couples like this. We’re truly blessed with the best. 💛

When Tyler and Larry wrote this kind review I did a little happy dance because a client explained exactly how we approach our wedding day…. I’ll just leave you with her words -

“ Wow—where do I even begin?! As a wedding photographer myself, I knew Layla & Matt were the crème de la crème when it comes to photography and videography. I expected amazing work, but when we received our full wedding gallery… I was completely blown away!!! They have such a special way of capturing artful storytelling!

Every image and every frame of video is stunning. What truly moved me was how they told our story. It wasn’t just a collection of beautiful portraits (although I was IN LOVE with those!). It was a time machine. Every laugh, tear, silly moment, and sweet glance—it’s all there. Watching our video and going through our gallery felt like reliving the best day of our lives.

They didn’t just capture how the day looked; they captured how it felt. The emotions, the chaos, the quiet moments, the big belly laughs, and the tiny details people miss—they captured it. We were cracking up, tearing up, and constantly pausing to say, “Remember that!” It was pure magic.

And Layla… oh my goodnesss! On the day of the wedding, she was our photographer, hype-woman, go-to gurl, and family member all rolled into one. Long, honest post from the heart from Layla :

This wedding shook me in the best way. It tore apart everything I thought I had to be as a photographer — the pressure to be “luxury,” to chase perfection, to follow all the trends just to fit in with what’s considered “successful.”

Instead, I felt something so real, so raw, and so deeply moving that it reminded me why I started this journey in the first place.

I was in tears — no eye makeup left after their ceremony. Their love broke me open in the most beautiful way. The way they loved each other, the way they moved through their day with such passion and authenticity — it was unforgettable.

This wedding reminded me that I’m not here to create perfect pictures. I’m here to capture real moments. The joy. The tears. The rush. The quiet. The deep, honest connection between two people on one of the most important days of their lives.

So from here on out — I’m not chasing trends. I’m chasing truth.

To my couples: your love is the story. Your day deserves to be remembered exactly as it felt. Not just how it looked.

And to this incredible couple — thank you for inspiring me. I’ll carry your love story with me forever. I can’t wait to share your video. 🤍

Some details from Jordyn and Brayden’s wedding 🤍. I debated on sharing until the film scans were in but decided to share anyway. Details help fill in the story of a wedding- it doesn’t always have to be perfect… pretty is good but sometimes candid details tell the best story. That’s what it’s all about- telling a complete story of the day.

When it comes to storytelling, we got you! The pretty, the messy, the sweet moments, the ugly crying and even the ripped pants moments on the dance floor! We are here for it ALL!

Hi! Matt and Layla here from TruVision Studios. We’re a husband and wife team passionate about storytelling behind the camera. We’re excited to launch our new website in a week and share more about us and our why! This wedding season has been slamming already and summer doesn’t even officially start for another week (aka Layla Birthday)

We are rarely in front of the camera, but when we are, it seems that we’re always at one of our favorite venues, Greencrest Manor, and is behind my camera capturing us without cameras in our hand. ◡̈

Groom love for you all this Monday! It’s no secret the Bride gets more attention on socials but can’t forget about our amazing grooms! We loved the geeting ready portion of the day for Grant; his parents were so hands on and it really made a special moment to document. I can only imagine what his parents were thinking watching their son get ready to become a husband.
