Two artists. One night. A room that will hold every ounce of it.�On September 7th, we’re proud to host Sunny War and Buffalo Nichols at The Big Room — two musicians who don’t just play the blues, they live it, reshape it, and pass it on in their own voices.
Sunny War brings a raw kind of folk-punk poetry — stories carved out of survival, addiction, love, and rebellion. Her guitar work is dizzying, her lyrics pull no punches, and somehow she still leaves space for joy.

Buffalo Nichols carries the weight of blues tradition and bends it into something deeply personal. His songs explore struggle and identity with stripped-back power — a sound rooted in the Delta but made for right now.

We’re still glowing from the magic of last night! Valerie June opened The Big Room with a performance that was nothing short of spectacular. It was the very first time we’ve been able to host an event in this space, and it truly felt like a dream come to life.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made it such a special evening. We were completely overwhelmed by the support—there was a line around the block waiting to get in! The room was filled with warmth, joy, and community, and we couldn’t be more grateful or more proud to have shared it with all of you.

Here’s to many more nights of music, stories, and celebration in The Big Room!
