LONG TIME NO SEE!!

I am alive around here and here’s what you missed on GLEE:

-got married ✨
-had my bachelorette party where we found our kitty shark, who then decided to leave this world 5 months later (it’s ok to laugh at the misfortune, he’s missed so much but what the heck man)
-had like 5+ weddings since I posted last LOL
-started tax season aka happening since January and I’ve been a shell of a human (for those who don’t know, my full time gig is no longer this, I’m an admin assistant for a tax firm)
-Amanda, Cole, and Charleigh welcomed their sweet babygirl in January and she’s SO loved, Miss Kayce Matalyn 🤍 (all pictured here, Kayce just hiding in moms belly 🥰)

And SO much in between, but here’s to sharing what I’ve been up to and sharing videos of my beautiful couples from the last like… two years. Bear with me 😂

rising from the depths to give you a little black and white goodness...

been busy with sessions, weddings, and hiding while editing all of those. it feels good to not have social media control my life these days, but also need to remind myself it's good to share the goodness i'm capturing.

it's even better when I get to see faces over and over, including jack and kayla. so so so excited for them to add a little one to their family.

i can't go weeks without posting this stunning preview of Lexi + Seth's day, it'd be criminal to do so. the most stunning couple with the most stunning venue + details. lexi + seth got married this past saturday at and words cannot describe how incredible it was. no, like seriously, i've rewrote this description like 3 times 'cause i can't find the words, LOL. but, i'll let the preview speak for itself ✨

newborn sessions have my wholeeeee heart. especially sweet Ella Faith. Ella was such a good sport and slept in mom and dad’s arms pretty much the whole time (except when dad tickled her feet), and it was so wonderful to see one of my couples extend their family. 🥺 sydney and Isaac, you brought a beautiful gift into the world and you guys are absolute rockstars, it’s so incredible to see your family grow with this beautiful baby girl ✨

i’ve been having imposter syndrome because I’m not a photographer that swaddles babes, or poses babes in different positions, and I’m obsessed with those kind of newborn sessions, but I also just feel something so raw and real about just letting baby be. There’s something so cute about the limbs flailing and baby just being a chance to be a baby, and I know that some babies just do not like the be swaddled, and that’s okay! So while I do newborn sessions, know that I don’t swaddle baby up every time, and while I can still spend hours at your session (we’re in babies world, I’m just doing whatever they want and need), I’m not the type to put baby in swaddle and different positions, and I know SO many wonderful photographers who do that so if that’s what you are looking for, I will happily send you their way. I love the raw and real and things to be so candid 🥺 love love love an in home session but also love love love a good newborn studio session 🥺

we're working backwards 'cause i have so many goodies to post from the last few months, starting with the beautiful madison + michael. such a wonderful day downtown grand rapids, celebrating with these two! it was elegant, timeless, and such a party ✨

ashley + nolan's big day last year was one i was not physically there for, but was in total spirit. living their day back while creating this video was so special, their smiles actually could light up an entire room. their beautiful vows, the colors, the way they show their love for one another. they obbbbviously deserve their full video on my timeline cause months later and i'm still obsessed.
