What a great way to start the wedding season!

Having to cancel one wedding in March of 2020 and then postponing in March of 2021. It Finally happened!!

Yes I still do weddings despite my lack of posting!! Here is one of the most special ones from the summer.

To the most lovely couple, kindness and love just pours from them and their loves ones. Paula Lawrence and Christopher Bode are simply the sweetest. Their wedding at the Blue Dress Barn Wedding Barn in Michigan. You barely even need to decorate this awesome venue it has so much beauty. It was a great day with amazing people!

We're back!! First wedding of 2020, after a few postponements and changes I was finally able to get back to it this week. It's been such a tough year for many, and for the people who were planning a wedding on top of it all...I just couldn't imagine! Kait and Adam got married at in Benton Harbor. With a beautiful orchard and vineyard to surround them, and a small group of friends and family to share the moment with... It surely was a beautiful day. Next time I will take more pictures (hopefully). More weddings to come!

What do you do when you have some free time, floral, and an abundance of fresh mushrooms from ? You smash them all together and get funky!

Here we have some palms, protea, hypericum and of course...the lovely Golden Oyster mushroom! It was a weird day, perfect to compliment the weird week we've all had.

No mushrooms were harmed in the making of these arrangements. They will however, be eaten.

This wedding season is off to a rocky start. Two weddings have been postponed, one which should have taken place yesterday. The bride and groom took it upon themselves to cancel before it was mandatory, which was impressive to say the least. Their love for eachother isnt dependant on having a wedding, the safety of their loved ones is what mattered most. This weekend I am experimenting and playing with the flowers that should have been created for this wonderful couple. I can't wait until they have their time to celebrate, it will be that much more beautiful when they can be with everyone who loves them as much as they love eachother.
