“I didn’t anticipate needing help from a wedding planner, but the more I got into the planning process the more I realized I would benefit from expert help. In the beginning, Sam was there to help me think through all the small details I hadn’t considered on my own – table arrangement, tent placement, ceremony organization, timelines, etc. The weekend of the wedding is where she really shined, though. We asked her to be on-site the day before and day of the wedding to help coordinate with the various vendors, set-up the tables and decor and to help keep the evening on schedule (which meant coordinating with our very large family). She worked two very long days and GREATLY exceeded our expectations. With little direction, she transformed our basic outdoor tent venue into an incredibly beautiful space. She knew exactly the look I was going for and made it happen. I walked into our reception and was blown away at how great it looked – no one but Sam could have made that moment so special for me! A year later, my family still talks about how hard Sam worked and how helpful it was to have her there. "I used Sam Hendricks as a day-of planner/coordinator and it was the best money I spent on my entire wedding. Sam was there from beginning to end and had everything under control. Being the control-freak that I am, I had a hard time letting go of some things but Sam reassured me that she would take care of them, and she did that and then some. Sam decorated our reception venue, it looked better than I could have imagined, and way better than I could have done myself. Our wedding day went flawlessly and I owe all of that to Sam. She kept the day moving along and worked well with our caterer, florist, DJ, and ceremony officiant (they all said that working with her was wonderful too!). Our wedding party and families had nothing but great things to say about how well she handled everything that day. Sam stayed to clean up the venue and packed everything into our cars so all we had to do was enjoy our evening. I would recommend Sam to every bride who is looking to have a stress free day and enjoy every moment of her day. My sister is beginning to plan her wedding and the first thing she said to me was, “I hope Sam is available for my wedding!” Sam is a wonderful, bright person with an incredible ability to keep wedding chaos under control so that the bride and groom can focus on having a great time." - Alex Bixler

Preparing for a small wedding up north this weekend - just read the brides copy of the ceremony ... I'm taking my mother and I better pack tissues. If it reads this beautiful, I can't wait to see it:) Finishing the check list and packing up the family, so happy to make a mini vacation out of this!!!
