LINNAEA Floral & Event Design I'm a wedding florist and event stylist specializing in small but stylish weddings and events in Gra I'm a wedding florist and event stylist.

I specialize in small but upscale and stylish weddings, but can accommodate larger weddings as well. I am expanding my love for weddings beyond floral arranging and into full wedding styling. This would include designing tablescapes/the whole "look" of the wedding --helping with linen choice, table number and escort card design, floral design (of course!), and all the little details and extras that make those weddings that we adore on the many many wedding blogs out there so fabulous!

Oh hey, it’s been a minute since I’ve posted at all, let alone an introduction. 🙃 I’m Lisa, your go-to for wedding and event florals, elopements, and most recently floral business education!

I’ve been in this industry since before Pinterest or Instagram, and have over a decade and a half of knowledge to share, so if you’re in need of a big sister type of mentor, I’m your girl. 💕

I haven’t had a true hobby in forever, so recently I started throwing pottery on the wheel after taking my first class my freshman year of college many moons ago. My goal is to have a release for my creative energies through the off-season and make vessels that I can use in future events. I think it’d be amazing to eventually be able to exclusively use my own wares for events. 🥹

Other than pottery, my obsessions include my 17 year old pup, Kaiya (whom I’ve had since she was about 1.5 and continues to thrive off of my eternal love and a renal diet), Lions football, and making our 118 year old home a beautifully cozy and lived-in space. I also love puzzles, board games, and have recently gotten into sports trading cards with my husband (primarily for the pack ripping/thrill of the hunt and organizational systems I get to create for it… don’t ask 🙈).

I love my job, I love my couple and my people, and I thank you all for being here!

Well hi hello there! There are a bunch of new faces here which means it’s time for a re-introduction. In truth, I’ve been wanting to post a few pics of myself from Des and Phil’s Parisian wedding cause I think I look cute/never get dressed up but didn’t want to seem vain… is it working?

No matter. Hi! I’m Lisa, owner, lead designer, and main gal behind all things LINNAEA.

We are at 15 years and counting of flowering for the sweetest couples, which seems crazy but I can’t imagine doing anything else!

LINNAEA was named such after linnaea borealis, or the “twinflower” as it was my twin sister and I that started this journey together all those moon ago.

I’m an introvert and self-proclaimed borderline hermit. I love to putter around the house and slowly work on/overthink house projects, but I also love to travel!

My babes and I were married in Scotland with my team and just our immediate family in tow about 6.5 years ago. It’s just the two of us and my 16 year old husky mutt, Kaiya (she needs to be immortal for my mental health), and we wouldn’t have it any other way. 🫶

I’m working on stepping into an educational/mentor/coaching role in this floral space to share my years of knowledge and help other designers gain the confidence to charge what they’re worth and run a successful and sustainable business, so stick around!
