Happy 35th birthday to Brian Nawrocki . He has been a part of the company since Day 1, over 19 years now. He has moved up from dish washer to our Accountant and CFO. We hope he has a great day.

Our winter "break" is over and returning to an active catering schedule. Friday night we catered St. Stan's in Dorr annual Reverse Raffle and Auction dinner for the 15th year. Our auction donation raised $600 for their event. Saturday night we assisted with the Eddie Wright Memorial Burrito Night serving a full house. Great and busy weekend.

We celebrated wrapping up our 18th year this past Saturday with our annual company party which has turned into our Christmas party. We are grateful to our family and friends who help us throughout the year making our events very successful.

We miss our Marketing Director and Sales Manager but wayyyy more importantly our Friend! Frank left us 8 years ago but his memory and the stories are still alive and well at our company.

Last day of Pulaski Days 2025. We are serving 12-4 or while food lasts. Serving our full menu. The long hours, late nights and early mornings have pushed us hard but our friendly smiling staff is ready to serve you. LAST CALL for a Polito this year.

We also are taking the time to remember 2 great guys who influenced the company in many ways. Hope we see you soon.

Available only during Grand Rapids' Pulaski Days, the "Polito" combines kielbasa, garlic potatoes, cheese and cabbage in a burrito smothered with bacon whiskey sauce.

Pulaski Days have officially kicked off! This is our one time of year where we make our Polito®️.

Did you know you can ask for your food to go? And you can also freeze and reheat a Polito for when that craving hits beyond Pulaski? We’ve gotten some insight from a loyal customer, Woody Nelson who didn’t want to have a Polito only on this weekend!

Here’s some tips that were shared with us:

Freezing for later: Wrap in parchment paper and then saran wrap. Place your Polito in a zip-lock bag and seal.

Air Fryer Reheating Instructions: Allow your Polito to defrost and pat dry with paper towel. Set air fryer to 350 degrees and cook for 15 minutes, flipping the Polito halfway through If your Polito is not to your golden-brown preference allow for 3 to 5 more minutes of cooking.

Less than a week away and we are working hard! Hope to see many of you soon. 130 more lbs of kapusta and 100 lbs of Polito kielbasa tonight. My wrist in need surgery and the hip I need replaced are reminding me of our hard work tonight so last photo is appropriate. Lisa and I handle the duties including moving 1500 lbs of supplies and are both feeling it. Back at it tomorrow!
