We’re proud to see the Kent Country Club Caddie Program featured in the March issue of Club + Resort Business Magazine.

For generations, the Kent caddie program has been an important part of our Club’s culture—providing members with a traditional golf experience while creating meaningful opportunities for young people to learn the game, develop leadership skills, and build lifelong connections to the sport. Kent’s program has also helped produce 46 Evans Scholars, demonstrating the lasting impact caddying can have beyond the course.

We’re grateful to our members, staff, and dedicated caddies who continue to carry this tradition forward each season.

We’re proud to share that Ward Sutton, Kent’s General Manager, has been named the Michigan PGA Professional Development Award recipient, recognizing his leadership and contributions to advancing education and growth within the PGA profession.

We also celebrate Jimmy Wisinski, Kent’s Director of Instruction, who received the Michigan PGA Player Development Award for his outstanding work growing the game and helping golfers of all ages and skill levels improve and enjoy the sport.
