It's been quite a year so far! I've enjoyed a busy work season, getting back into this rhythm of work-life balance. Or trying to anyway! I looked up from all the busyness and summer was over! So it was nice to escape for a couple of hours and meet Mitch and Morgan out in the midst of the fall trees and the crisp cool autumn air. Cheers Instagram!

Hope you all enjoyed the Valentine's weekend with those you cherish! We stayed in (obviously) and listened to old records with the kids, ate ice cream and did a puzzle. While this winter weather is blasting the country, I'm just so grateful for those little moments together 💕 Cheers!

2020 really changed up plans for couples everywhere when it came to their wedding day. However it was awesome to see how creative my clients were, from choosing small intimate venues to personalizing masks. It's still a little up-in-the air what this upcoming wedding season will look like, but I'm here for it! Whether guests lists are still sized down, or if we'll be back to a full ceremony, I'm looking forward to another great year of capturing moments just like this one.

I love some of the beautiful quirks of a wedding in the time of a pandemic. A massive church, with an intimate party of six awaiting the bride and groom at the front of the sanctuary. Walking past empty rows, the smiles and tears at the front of the church no less sacred. Some day things will return to normal, but for the folks who's wedding, birth, or engagement existed in this year, their memories will be so uniquely special. Cheers to all of them.
