For our wedding, I wore the necklace & earrings my mother wore on her wedding day, given to her by her mother who wore them on her wedding day as a gift from my grandfather’s family. It was paired with a ring my father bought for my mother- a beautiful replica of my father’s mother’s wedding ring, a way to honor her spirit & hold her close on our wedding day.
